The Insurance Exchange is proud to stand on its reputation and record of performance for over the past thirty eight plus years. Founded by John E. Stier, our first policy was sold in July, 1971. Our statement of purpose tells our story.

"To provide insurance and risk management to the general public on a personal, business, or commercial level, selling proper coverage while maintaining competitive rates."

Thirty eight plus years has seen many changes. From our first policy we have grown to be one of the largest independent agencies in this general geographic area. Our main office is located in West Union, Ohio and we have branch offices in Peebles, Ohio and Winchester, Ohio. Today we serve individuals and businesses in four states.

The agency still is operated jointly by John E. Stier and Edith "Edie" Stier, husband and wife. We continue to maintain a competent staff of licensed and experienced employees that are committed to quality customer service.

This web site has been established as a means to be more responsive in serving our growing customer base in this rapidly expanding world of technology.
